Taylor Ogilvie, who most recently oversaw the Vail Mountain Children and Teen Ski and Ride School at Lionshead, has been named general manager of Mt. Brighton Ski Area in Michigan. Vail Resorts acquired the ski area last year.
Ogilvie is originally from the Chicago area and grew up skiing in the Midwest. He joined Vail Resorts after graduating from the University of Colorado.
Eric Simon, vice president and general manager for Vail Resorts urban ski areas, said Ogilvie will oversee the company’s $10 million capital improvements projects starting this summer. Ogilvie, his wife, and two daughters will soon relocate to the resort.
