Okemo Picked As One Of Vermont’s Best Places To Work
The list was created by Vermont Business Magazine, Vermont Chamber of Commerce, Vermont Department of Economic Development, Vermont Department of Labor, Society for Human Resource Management-Vermont State Council, and Best Companies Group.
The annual statewide survey and awards program, which began in 2006, is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment that benefit the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. It is made up of small/medium companies (15-149 employees) and large companies (150+ employees).
“This is a tremendous accomplishment and we are honored to receive this special designation,” says Okemo’s Crystal Stokarski.
Companies were evaluated on their workplace policies, philosophy, practices, system, and demographics (25 percent of evaluation), as well as on an employee survey (75 percent) regarding their experience. The combined scores determine the final rankings.
The final rankings for each category will be announced March 27 at the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center.
