New Ski Utah Magazine, Revamped Website Launched
The inaugural version of Ski Utah Magazine has launched taking the Beehive State’s ski trade association in a new direction.
“After years of producing a factual vacation planner, it was time to reinvent the wheel and feed the dream and the aspiration of a Utah vacation versus focusing on the actual planning process,” said Raylene Davis, Ski Utah’s director of marketing and publisher of the new magazine.
She describes the product as including “stunning imagery, polished writing, insider tips, and more. It will entice and inform consumers of the great things Utah has to offer and direct them to our website to plan their vacation.”
A free copy of the new magazine is available by going online.
The association’s website also has been completely revamped with a new vacation planning tool with region-based listings that promote the access and proximity of Utah’s ski resorts. A “Deals” section offers specials on lodging, lift tickets, and equipment rentals.
Utah attracted 3,802,536 skier visits last winter. The association believes new tools like the magazine and revamped website will help bring them back to record-breaking 2010-11 levels.
