MICE Exchange To Debut At Mountain Travel Symposium

Mountain Travel Symposium

A new component will bring fresh tracks to the Mountain Travel Symposium March 7-14, 2013 in Snowmass, Colo. It’s the MICE Exchange for professional meetings incentives, conference, and exposition planners.

Added to the proven successful Trade and Group Exchanges, the MICE exchange crams three business to business, face to face events into a one-stop week for the ski industry to jump start sales for the 2013-14 season.

The MICE event runs April 11-14 and will bring together 50 meeting planners open to bringing events to the mountains with representatives of ski destinations. A full day MICE Exchange will be held Saturday, April 13 with pre-scheduled meetings. There will be plenty of non-structured time during the MICE sessions for networking.

Sponsor of the MICE Exchange days include Snowmass Tourism, Westin Snowmass Resort, Viceroy Snowmass, Aspen Skiing Company, United Airlines, and Successful Meetings magazine.

“We are incredibly excited about adding this fresh new MICE Exchange to our existing Trade and Group Exchanges,” says Michael Pierson, MTS President. “Meeting planners can gather in-depth information about potential meeting sites in mountain destinations through sessions with representatives of resorts and lodging properties in North America.”
