Jackson Hole Achieves Resort-wide 10 Percent Reduction In Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Jackson HoleJackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) has announced further positive results relating to environmental goals and initiatives. The resort received its third ISO 14001 re-registration and exceeded its environmental goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions resort-wide by over 10 percent.

With the third continuous re-registration of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) at Jackson by KPMG, JHMR holds strong as the only ski resort in the United States to have an externally audited EMS.

“These external audits prove we walk our green talk by quantifying environmental actions taken by every department in the organization,” said JHMR Environmental Coordinator Jon Bishop.
