Ary Quiros, 36, of East Burke, Vt., has been named president and CEO of Q Burke Mountain Resort, LLC, owners of the Northeast Kingdom ski resort.
Quiros is a graduate of Pace University in New York City, with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and International Management. He obtained his MBA from Vermont’s Norwich University and completed post-graduate studies in Hospitality Management from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Europe.
Quiros has been serving in the U.S. Army as an artillery officer, did a rotation in South Korea and three tours in Afghanistan. He remains an officer in the Vermont National Guard.
“Ary brings a great combination of education and experience in resort operations to the team. He is well-suited to guide the evolution of Burke Mountain ands its future lodging components which will play such a critical role in Burke’s future. He is an outstanding young man and outstanding leader,” said Bill Stenger, CEO and co-owner of Jay Peak Resort and Director, Northeast Kingdom Economic Development Initiative.
