Andrew Barfield To Head Snow Sports At Snowbasin

Utah’s Snowbasin Resort has named Andrew Barfield as its new Snow Sports Director.

Barfield has spent the past nine years as the Snow Sports Supervisor and Training Manager at Steamboat Ski & Resort.  Prior to that, he spent 11 years working at Crystal Mt. Ski Resort in a variety of capacities related to the snow sports school.  

Barfield holds many certifications with PSIA as well as being an Examiner and DCL (Divisional Clinic Leader) for PSIA-NW then PSIA-RM since 2000.  

“With 20 years of snow sports school experience Andrew will be a great addition to Snowbasin Resort,” said John Loomis, general manager.

“I am excited to move to Utah and in particular the opportunity to work with Snowbasin Resort”, Barfield said.  “Snowbasin Resort’s snow sports program is limitless I am looking forward to build on its already stellar reputation.”
