It’s been a slow start to the ski season in Argentina and Chile, but El Niño delivered a massive winter storm over the weekend with more than five feet of snow for the region’s ski resorts.
Valle Nevado will open its slopes three weeks earlier than previously scheduled because of storms that have dumped 2.7 feet of snow on the resort. Valle Nevado celebrates its 25 anniversary this season.
