In an ongoing effort to attract youngsters to the slopes – and keep them coming back – resorts in the West and Northwest will once again offer ski and snowboarding passes that are virtually free.
The latest spring snowstorm dropped up to 20 inches in the Rocky Mountains, delivering outstanding (mid-winter) spring conditions for the remainder of the season for resorts in Utah and Colorado.

A new quad chair, dubbed the Mountaineer Express will increase the capacity on Little Baldy Mountain at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, by 1,200 skiers per hour next winter.
A significant dispute between Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons Resort owner Talisker Land Holdings, LLC, has bubbled over the top. So much so that PCMR General Manager Jenni Smith said an agreement must be reached or settled or “we may be forced to close.”
