Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) overcame Audi FIS Ski World Cup slalom opener nerves, skiing two clean and solid runs en route to her first World Cup victory of the 2017 season in Levi, Finland Saturday.

Mikaela Shiffrin Second In Lienz Slalom; Travis Ganong 10th In Bormio Downhill

Marlies SchildAmerica’s teen star, Mikaela Shiffrin from Eagle-Vail, Colo., enjoyed a podium filled World Cup weekend in Lienz, Austria. She was ahead of the pack after the first slalom run Sunday, but couldn’t hold off hard-charging Marlies Schild in the foggy, rutted finale.

Canadian and Westminster College student Anna Goodman parlayed her NorAm slalom crown to the top of the podium as the Nature Valley U.S. National Championships closed out the racing season at Squaw Valley, Calif.
