Whitefish Mountain Resort plans to invest more than $1.2 million to renovate the Summit House and build a new ski patrol headquarters building; pending U.S. Forest Service approval. If approved, which the resort expects it to be, this marks the third consecutive summer for major construction at the resort. Past projects included the new Flower Point chairlift, new terrain, and renovation of the base lodge.
