Bretton Woods 8-Person Gondola is a Room With a View

Depending on the weather, the first eight-person gondola in New Hampshire could begin operating within a month at the Bretton Woods Ski Area.

For the most part, “it’s all glass,” longtime Director of Ski Operations Chris Ellms said of the gondola being built by the Austrian-Swiss Doppelmayr Garaventa Group.

Bretton Woods Resort Projects Update

While construction began in the autumn with the gondola base and upper terminal installations and the tower foundations, the early winter that kickstarted the ski season stalled the project.
