The nation’s first all-in-one action sports and ski resort is set to debut its ramps, tracks, pits and parks for this ski and snowboard season near Park City.

Woodward Park City will open its doors Nov. 27 with a grand-opening ceremony at the park, located about 20 minutes from Park City Mountain Resort off I-80.

The new facility will be at Gorgoza Park, a property owned by former Park City Mountain owner Powdr Corp. and current owner of Woodward. The Woodward campus sits at the base of an existing tubing hill, which has gotten a major upgrade while new facilities were built this summer.

Like other Woodward's action-sports facilities around the country, the Park City version will accommodate all skill levels – from beginner to professional – in snowboarding, skiing, tubing, mountain biking, skateboarding, BMX, scooter, parkour, cheer and digital media.

The campus encompasses both indoor and outdoor activities. Indoors, there is a 10,000 square-foot concrete skate park; an Acro Zone with spring floor and air track; trampoline and parkour (military-style movement challenge); pump tracks and mini-ramps; and a digital media studio.

Outdoors will be tubing hill, a beginner ski and snowboard area, and terrain park with jumps for experienced action skiers and riders to hone their skills.

"Woodward Park City is for all athletes from families and never-evers to pros," says Shaydar Edelman of Woodward Park City. “Our progression-based facilities enable visitors of all skill levels to learn and achieve their goals in a dedicated environment.”

Visitors can buy for all-access, day sessions, lift tickets, drop-in sessions, day camps, lessons, monthly memberships, and special events.

Based in Park City, Powdr operates five Woodward facilities around the United States in its “outdoor adventure” property portfolio. Two of Woodward’s facilities are already at ski and snowboard mountains – Copper Mountain in Colorado and Boreal Mountain in California.
