Female skiers and snowboarders will soon take center stage at three Minnesota resorts. The clinics will get you on course for the rest of the season, and one clinic will host a wine and cheese afterwards.
Welch Village is hosting its second Women’s Ride and Wine this season Saturday, March 5, for those 21 and older. The cost is $70 per person. Space is limited for this popular clinic.
Welch is also hosting the NASTAR Midwest Championship the weekend of Feb. 26-28. The event includes giant slalom races Saturday and Race of Champions and team races Sunday. Participants compete in their age and ability groups. Racers that make the podium will qualify for the NASTAR National Championships. The entry fee is $59 adults and $45 for juniors (20 and younger).
Afton Alps has its second Ski Girls Rock two-day camp March 5-6. The program was designed by Minnesota native and Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn.
