Film promoters note the movie takes viewers on a cinematic trip to the “epicenter of big lines” in Alaska, Montana, Iceland, Greenland, Switzerland, and Norway.
Some of the sport’s top athletes appear in the film, including World Cup and Olympians Seth Wescott, Ted Ligety, and Julia Mancuso; Mountaineer Chris Davenport; and freeskiers Colby West and Sean Petit.
Highlights of the movie include an all-female cast of Mancuso, Jess McMillan, and Sierra Quiltquit explore the terrain of Iceland’s Troll Peninsula; Snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler “thowing down in Aspen;” and Wescott and Rob Kingwell snowboarding in Ladez, Alaska.
The annual film is currently produced by Warren Miller Entertainment, a division of Active Interest Media. Warren Miller, personally, no longer narrates the film, nor is involved in it’s production. Skiing star Jonny Moseley has narrated the movie the past several years.
