Treat Yourself To Epic Snow, European Culture At Quebec Ski Resorts

Le Massif, just an hour east of Quebec City along the northern shore of the St Lawrence, boasts the highest vertical east of the Rockies at 770 meters (2,526 feet) and stunning views of the semi-frozen river. Driving by car, you arrive at the summit of the mountain, with 307 acres of trails and glades at your feet. There are some serious steeps to found – try the three-mile-long La Charlevoix trail for a leg-burning run that only feels as though you’ll ski right into the river at the bottom.
To further the European flavor of your vacation, book a room at Hotel La Ferme and take the Light Rail Transit for a 40-minute ride along the river to the base of the mountain.
