Full-time operation at Mt. Baker began Thursday at both White Salmon and Heather Meadows base areas with more than 43 inches of snow at upper locations and 37 inches of base at mid-mountain. Seven chairs will serve main runs only.
Lookout Pass is open for the season with the majority of the front side of the mountain available. At least lifts 1 and 4 will be spinning and reduced ticket prices are in effect.
49 Degrees North will re-open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. with four chairs running. The ski area plans to resume operations Thanksgiving Day. Others planning to be open for the weekend include Stevens Pass, Mission Ridge and Mt. Spokane.
Further north, Alyeska, in Girdwood, Alaska kicks off its season Thanksgiving Day at 10:30 a.m.
