Spring Fever: Resorts Across No. America Offer Family, Adult Package Specials

Spring“It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want – oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!” –Mark Twain

Skiers and riders everywhere around this time of year can relate to Mark Twain’s definition of spring fever. Not only are days sunnier, snow softer, and filled with end-of-season events, but resorts traditionally begin to lower lift ticket prices and offer money-saving ski and stay lodging packages that lure families, couples, and singles.

Check out your favorite area’s website for a complete listing of events and packages. Then, pack the gear and head for the hills. Here are but a few examples of what’s available.

“Receiving an average of over 34 feet of snow a year, Whistler Blackcomb consistently has one of the best snow bases in North America,” Whistler’s Peter Lonergan told SnoCountry.com. “The amazing snow base, coupled with over 1200 acres of groomed runs a day and sunny skies, makes Whistler Blackcomb’s spring skiing second to none.”
