Snowbird celebrates the return of summer with a full lineup of summer activities and events, set to kick off June 19, 2021. This includes 18 family-friendly summer activities, as well as the return of the 48th Annual Oktoberfest following a 1-year hiatus.
“Summer in Little Cottonwood Canyon allows guests to experience an entirely different side of Snowbird compared to winter,” said Snowbird President and General Manager Dave Fields. “We invite everyone to escape the heat, hike among the wildflowers, celebrate our favorite traditions and experience more of what our mountain has to offer.”
This summer guests can explore the mountain by participating in a number of activities, including the all-new ZipWhipper, slated to open in mid-August. Other summertime favorites will be available on opening day, June 19, such as the Woodward WreckTangle, Mountain Coaster, Scenic Tram Rides and Alpine Slide.
Guests of all ages can enjoy what summer at Snowbird has to offer with an All-Day Activities Pass, starting at $52 for adults. Giving mountain-goers access to the Tram, Mountain Coaster, Woodward WreckTangle, Alpine Slide, Vertical Drop, Ropes Course, Summer Tubing, Climbing Wall, Bungee Trampoline and Tree Climb, it’s a ticket to non-stop fun.
Events are also returning this summer season including live music, special dining experiences, a number of on-mountain competitions, the Wasatch Wildflower Festival and Oktoberfest. This marks the 48th year of Oktoberfest, which spans from late-August through mid-October, taking place every Saturday and Sunday, as well as Labor Day. Admission to Oktoberfest is free and is one of the largest festivals in all of Utah.
