Stoke was high this week for east coast skiers and riders, as the power of snowmaking and the fortune of cold weather combined for October openings at Killington and Sunday River, with Mount Snow and Wildcat spinning lifts this coming weekend.

In just a few days of snowmaking, Sunday River and Killington were able to open for the 2018-19 season. Meanwhile, natural snow from Maine to West Virginia  has everyone amped to hit the mountains.
