SkiFever Show Hits Portland, Oregon Nov. 15-17
The 33rd annual Portland SkiFever & Snowboard Show opens Friday, Nov. 15 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 17 at the Portland Expo Center.
Those looking for bargains can find them with savings of up to 70 percent on new ski or snowboard gear through retailers like U.S. Outdoors, Zumiez and Mountain Shop.
Reps can answer questions, give tips, and help with fittings. Check out the latest from manufacturers like Rossignol, Volkl, K2, Salomon, Nordica, Ride, Atomic, and more.
Looking for used or closeout equipment or clothing? You can do that, too, at the show’s ski swap. Here’s a win-win-win: Clear out your closet by bringing your clean, gently used equipment and clothing, keep 80 percent of the purchase price, and pay no consignment fee.
There’s lots more to see and do: Columbia Sportswear Fashion show, Rail Jam, Wine Chalet, Freeride show, and Hot Dog Skier Lounge. Pick up some tips by watching National Super Pipe Champion David Wise. Test your skills in the pickle-eating contest.
All attendees receive two-for-one lift ticket deals to Mt. Hood Skibowl, Mt. Hood Meadows, Timberline, Mt. Ashland, Hoodoo, and others. Some restrictions may apply.
Show hours are Fri., 1-10 p.m., Sat. 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Sun., 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is adults $13; juniors (6-12) $3; under 6 free.
