Savoring Every Sip At Northeast Mountain Brewfests

Craft brews, music and fun are on tap as we transition into fall in the mountains of the Northeast. In addition to some tasty frosty beverages, resorts will be featuring local food treats and live music, along with special events.
The Mount Snow Brewers Festival, a celebration of beer, music and food, celebrates its 23rd anniversary Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-3. Not only will there be over 100 different beers and ciders to choose from throughout the weekend, but also plenty of live music to get you on your feet. Kick off the festival Friday night with a beer paring dinner with Trout River Brewing.
Sips, shucks, and shots of Maine will be on display during Sunday River's Maine Brew Fest, Sept. 8-10, featuring the state's best beers, oysters, and disc golfers, respectively. Joining the state's top brewers, experts will pair brews with freshly shucked Maine oysters. To add to the fun, a disc golf tournament, open to pros, experienced disc golfers, and amateurs, boasts cash prizes for the top teams.
Wet your whistle at the Killington Brew Fest, Sept. 30, with a backdrop of Vermont’s finest autumn foliage and enjoy live music, fabulous food and craft beers. The event features over 40 breweries pouring more than 100 craft beer styles, a vendor village and live music. Friday, a brew-inspired golf tournament at Killington Golf Course tests your sporting skill while enjoying sample brews on-course during your round.
Stratton’s Brew Fest, Oct. 7, features over 100 of the region’s best craft brews as southern Vermont’s tallest peak dons vibrant fall foliage colors. The finest regional and local Vermont breweries will be pouring samples and pints. It wouldn’t be a true Brew Fest without a Keg Toss competition. Activities include free fall activities at Harvest Fest, scenic gondola rides, the Annual Chili Cook-Off and live music by Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass.
Shop Wachusett’s 25th Annual Labor Day Sale then sip some delicious craft beers at their Mountain Music and Craft Beer Party Sept. 1-4. Enjoy local artists, an outdoor BBQ and craft beer 12-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 12-3 p. m. Monday. Taste the best in local and regional craft beers and vote for the "Top Tap." The favorite brew will win preferred tap position in the Coppertop Lounge this winter.
