Non-Stop Air Service Grows In Jackson Hole
When a sudden urge arises to hit the slopes at Jackson Hole, there are now more ways to scratch that itch than ever before.
Delta Air Lines has added daily service from Minneapolis into Jackson Hole Airport, while United Airlines has put daily flights from Newark and San Francisco on their schedules – bringing the total to nine of cities with nonstop access to Jackson Hole.
Already, American Airlines flies direct from Dallas-Fort Worth, Delta Air Lines from Atlanta and Salt Lake City, and United Airlines from Denver, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Delta-Delta Connection has three flights to and from Salt Lake each day, while United-United Express puts three airliners in the air each day to and from Denver.
In addition, American Airlines has sweetened the pot by offering a free airline ticket for children ages two through 12, when accompanied by an adult paying a full airfare. Once at Jackson Hole, the airline ticket translates into a free group lesson at the resort.
All the airlines accept one ski bag (with poles) or one snowboard bag, along with a boot bag as checked baggage. No bag can weigh more than 50 pounds or be longer than 80 inches (203 cm).
