Nominations Open For Hall Of Fame; April 30 Deadline

US Ski Hall of FameNominations for the next class of honorees are open now through April 30 for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame. Anyone can nominate.

Nominations are then reviewed by a national selection committee, with the best of those that meet the qualifying criteria placed before an national voting panel of at least 100 experts across the country.

Nominees are judged for the level of excellence in their achievements as athletes and contributors to the development of skiing and snowboarding. All must have achieved at least a high level of accomplishment.

Athlete candidates may come from racing competitors, freestylers, freeskiing, big mountain skiers and snowboarders.

Rules and nomination forms are available online. Current nominees will be inducted at a ceremony April 5 in Park City, Utah.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame is located in Ishpeming, Mich., the birthplace of organized skiing in America.
