New Pass Programs, $1 Million-Plus In Capital Improvements Underway At Pats Peak, NH

Pats PeakFresh off the heels of the Cascade Basin expansion, which added six new trails and a new lift, New Hampshire's Pats Peak has invested another $1 million in capital improvements for the 2015-2016 season.

A new PistenBully Park Pro Snowcat will provide the latest specialized, cutting edge grooming technology. This new groomer will provide more dynamic jumps and features in the park along with a corduroy groomed surface.

“Our parks are really popular with the teens and tweens, and we’re excited to be on the cutting edge,” Pats Peak’s Lori Rowell told SnoCountry.com.

Pats PeakNew this year is a pre-paid “Passport Program PLUS” for beginners to earn a free season pass and brand-new pair of Elan skis with bindings. This pre-paid program for adults 18 and over can be purchased online starting Sept. 1 for $349 and includes four lift, lesson and rentals packages.

At the completion of the program, the beginner skier will receive their own pair of Elan skis with bindings free along with a Pats Peak season pass valid for the remainder of the 2015-2016 season.

“We’ll also include discount coupons for use at several local shops, where we hope our guests will become loyal customers,” Rowell added.

The new “20Something” Season Pass is perfect for anyone from 18-29 years old that is passionate about skiing/snowboarding and looking for an affordable way to enjoy the slopes this winter.

“We’re excited to offer a way for traditional college students or someone getting started on their own to be able to hit the slopes,“ Rowell said. This unlimited pass can be purchased for the discounted rate of $222.22.

Pats Peak has also invested this season in additional snowmaking guns, new rental equipment, an improved website experience, a new Bloody Mary Bar in Sled Pub on Sunday mornings and upgraded high-speed internet service.
