New Panorama-Express Opens At Mont-Sainte-Anne
Quebec 's Mont-Sainte-Anne celebrated the opening of its new Doppelmayr detachable quad, called the Panorama-Express, in mid-December.
The new chair replaces a triple fixed grip lift and offers more skiable terrain for skiers and riders providing access to the whole mountain, not only to the expert sector. It also is the biggest investment made in Quebec’s ski industry for this season according to resort officials.
“The addition of this new infrastructure on the South Side will undoubtedly mark the history of Mont-Sainte-Anne and we are pleased that skiers and riders are here to live this great moment with us,” says Mountain Director Daniel Rochon.
It is 1,800 meters (approximately 1.1 miles) in length and can carry 1,800 passengers per hour. It also reduces ride time by half.
