Valentine’s Day sweethearts across New England can celebrate the holiday of love with unique events at New Hampshire ski areas. Romantic celebrations will include chairlift speed dating, festive on-slope games, moonlit skiing, a couples ski race, and more.
Valentine’s Day events at New Hampshire ski areas include:
Looking for love in all the wrong places? Why not try and find it on a chairlift? Black Mountain is hosting their 8th Annual Chairlift Speed Dating, Feb. 9. Ride their double chair to the mid station, and if the “date” is working out, continue to the summit.
Treat your special someone to a day of skiing at Cranmore. Save on lift tickets Valentine's Day, Feb. 14. Adult lift tickets are half price, when purchased online, at least 24 hours in advance.
Bring your sweetheart to Gunstock on Valentine's Day and join them for a special "Runs N' Roses" edition of Night Sessions. They'll be hiding 50 roses on their night trails and the Tubing Hill. Keep those eyes peeled, because if you find a rose, you could win anything from swag to a night for two at a local B&B.
What is more romantic than ski racing and chocolate? Saturday, Feb. 9 King Pine hosts their Bavarian Chocolate Haus Sweetheart Race. Ski race with your sweetheart and the best combined time for couples will win chocolate gift baskets donated from the Bavarian Chocolate Haus of North Conway. The event is free to participate with a valid lift ticket. Or up your dating game and save your money for flowers and chocolates with two-for one lift tickets on Valentine's Day.
At the Valentine's Day Heart Hunt, search for hidden hearts on Mount Sunapee and bring them to Guest Services in the Spruce Lodge for a prize.
