The Childhood Cancer Lifeline 2015 event at Pats Peak raised over $25,000, insuring much needed support for New Hampshire families who have a child battling cancer.
The generosity of auction and dinner attendees was matched by Pats Peak skier/riders, and employees, who donated at cashier locations through the donation request campaign. Visitors and employees papered the lodges with well wishes, collectively donating $7,657.
Pats Peak donated a portion of their March Online Lift Ticket sales to the Childhood Cancer Lifeline for a total additional donation of $1,680. The total that has been raised in the past 15 years at the Childhood Cancer Lifeline Event at Pats Peak is over three hundred thousand dollars.
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline thanks October Sons for their talent and commitment to families battling cancer all weekend, and for organizing and lining up other performers for Sunday's event. They truly embraced the spirit of the event again this year.
“We are tremendously grateful for the continued support of everyone who participates in this event,” says Sylvia Pelletier, President of the Childhood Cancer Lifeline. “Each year Pats Peak opens its arms and embraces families battling childhood cancer through the Lifeline.
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline has a dedicated group of board members, and volunteers who work very hard to organize this event. They would like to thank: Rita Blanchard, Karen Kana, Chuck Mills, Suzanne Margarit, and Amy Patenaude for their assistance requesting donations, Tom Fisher for serving as auctioneer, Jenn Pineo and Laura Mills for volunteering their time at the event.
