Music In The Mountains At Vermont Ski Resorts

The kids are out of school and it's time to grab your lawn chairs and blankets for some music in the mountains at Vermont ski resorts. Musical offerings range from free outdoor concerts and weekend music festivals to mid-week jams at local bars and restaurants.
Jay Peak’s summer concert series will feature performances from An Evening With: Dead Set or Dark Star Orchestra, the July 4th Jeezum Crow Festival and more.
Killington’s free “Cooler in the Mountains” series runs Saturdays for eight weeks beginning July 15. Guests can arrive early to enjoy the festive atmosphere and all the summer activities.
The Jackson Gore Summer Music Series at Okemo features well-known regional performers Friday nights throughout the summer. Lawn chairs and picnic blankets cover the Jackson Gore courtyard while Okemo’s culinary team serves up fresh-from-the-grill favorites, cold soft drinks, wine and beer.
The hills really are alive with the sound of music as Trapp Family Lodge hosts the “Music in the Meadow” concert series with The Lonely Heartstring Band June 25, Vermont Symphony Orchestra July 9, Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy July 16, The Black Market Trust July 23 and The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra August 20.
