Los Angeles movie, Mountain High

The first feature-length snowboard movie – titled “Los Angeles” – to be produced by Mountain High Resort in Southern California will be shown Sept. 18 at the Downtown Independent Theater. Each moviegoer will receive a free Mountain High lift ticket.

The film will be shown along with Think Thank’s Mind “The Video Man.” There will be two showings at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 if purchased by Sept. 23 and $15 after that. Mountain High officials suggest getting tickets online ahead of time as they expect sellouts.

“Los Angeles” follows the Mountain High pro team on a trip to the mountain for an “insanely fun season of snowboarding with wild times and proper tricks going down in what is one of the best terrain parks in the nation.”

The film is directed by Matt Devino, produced by Brad Farmer, and starsCory Cronk, Kyle Lopiccolo, Spencer Link, Harrison Gordon, Trevor Haas, Nick Visconti, Ryan Paul, Marc Frank Montoya and many of their friends.

“Mind The Video Man” explores progressive freestyle snowboarding and asks the question, “what’s happening with the snowboard video, where is it going next, and how will that impact our culture?”
