Midwest Skiers: Fill Your Tank At Shell And Get Free Lift Ticket
You have to fill your gas tank to go skiing and riding. Michigan Shell stations are offering free lift tickets for every 10 gallons of gas you purchase. The offer is good through the middle of April.
The participating Shell stations, all located in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula except for one in Appleton, Wisc., give you a stamped voucher that is good for a second free lift ticket with the purchase of a full-price adult lift ticket. When you get the stamped voucher make sure you get a stamped gas receipt as well. Take both to the lift ticket window. Grab a friend and head to the slopes. It’s that simple, and a pretty sweet deal.
The offer is good at 17 Lower Peninsula ski areas and six in the UP. Indiana, Ohio and Chicagoland skiers can wait until they’re in the Wolverine State to fill the tank and take advantage of the deal.
A sampling of the ski areas includes Swiss Valley, Timber Ridge, Cannonsburg and Apple Mountainin southern Michigan, and most of the large resorts in northern Michigan; Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, Crystal Mountain, Nubs Nob, Shanty Creek and Treetops. In the UP there’s Norway Mountain, Marquette Mountain andPine Mountain among others.
