It's An Early 'Mudders Day' At Seven Springs May 12

MudderHere comes Mud on the Mountain again to Pennsylvania’s Seven Springs Resort, Saturday May 11, 2013. The event features 26 course obstacles of varying difficulty. More than 3,000 competitors are registered.

Five new obstacles have been added to the course this time around, including The Hangover, Blitzen’s Block, Giant’s Hurdle, Nail Biter, and Log-Out. There will also be a timed Elite Heat, an event requested bv past participants. Registration is limited for that heat.

 

Competitors begin the event in 20-minute intervals, starting at 8 a.m., with a maximum of 200 people. Registration fee is $85 per competitor. Spectator passes are $10 each and allow friends and family to access the top of the course via chairlift. All competitors must be 18 years or older. A Recovery Party follows the competition at the Foggy Goggle.

 

Donations of “gently used” ski and snowboard gear will benefit the Wounded Warrior Patrol and the Somerset County Salvation Army.

 

A special weekend lodging package is available at $119 per night plus tax. As for the Mud on the Mountain rate when making a reservation.
