Eat: Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at Legends on the Hill, a superb dining room on top of the ski hill offering unparalleled views stretching 20 miles across the river valley. For breakfast try the popular Southern Benedict or banana bread French toast, and for dinner there’s pretzel encrusted locally fresh perch and hickory smoked beef brisket in a Michigan apple BBQ glaze. Weekends throughout the ski season feature gourmet cross-country skiing feasts with five stations and wilderness sleigh ride gourmet dinners to a woodland cabin.

Stay: Treetops features 238 guest rooms, including standard and deluxe hotel rooms and two- and three-bedroom condominiums, all close to the restaurants and lifts. The resort also offers a free shuttle service.

Trails: Considered one of Michigan’s most family friendly resorts, all lifts converging in one activity filled area at the top makes keeping track of the entire family easy. The backside of the ski hill offers plenty of short expert bursts like Hunter’s Drop, Spill Away, Ridge Run and Hemlock Hollow to keep your skis and boards on edge. Round House, Face Full and Loafer are more open offering intermediates good options. The front side is wide and forgiving allowing beginners and low intermediate skiers and riders plenty of room to practice. A quarter-pipe and two terrain parks fill out the slopes.
