Indy Pass Unveils Spring Sale For 2022/23 Season

The first salvo in the U.S. multi-mountain season pass competition comes from Indy Pass: A spring sale that includes a Switch Pass with a small discount for skiers and riders who have a 2021-2022 Epic, Ikon, or Mountain Collective pass.

The pricing for Indy's four basic offerings remains the same as this season, and the same 82 resorts on this season's Indy roll call (including newly added Sunlight Mountain) are covered for the 2022-2023 season, as well as a more expensive no-blackout pass and discounts for individual resort pass holders.

An Indy Pass means two free days at any of those mountains by showing an ID at any resort ticket window. A third day gets 25% off.

New this upcoming season is the Switch Pass, which gives a $20 cut in the price of a standard Indy Pass for anyone who had purchased either an Ikon, Epic or Mountain Collective pass for this current season.

After adding nine resorts last season, Indy Pass captured Colorado's Sunlight Mountain at mid-season this year as the first Indy member from the Centennial State. In total, the Indy lineup has 16 resorts in the Rockies -- with five in Idaho -- and two in Canada. On the West Coast, Indy has 14 mountains from Eaglecrest in Alaska to Snow Valley in California, including four in British Columbia.

In the Midwest, the Indy Pass is hooked up with 20 ski and snowboard mountains in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and South Dakota. On the eastern flank of the country, the Indy covers 17 in the Northeast and nine in the Mid-Atlantic region -- plus three in Japan.

The skiing and riding public now awaits what Vail Resorts has in store for its 2022-2023 Epic Pass, what Alterra Mountain Company will offer up for its Ikon Pass this next season, and if Mountain Collective -- another two-day-free program -- will have any changes to its roster or pricing.
