Idaho Resorts Spring For 2013-14 Season Pass Discounts

Brundage Mt.

It’s springtime in Idaho, the snow is softening, and the end of the season is sadly within sight – but so are the bargains on next year’s season passes.

Most of the resorts in the Gem State roll out some form of deal to entice skiers and snowboarders to buy the 2013-2014 season passes before this season ends. A number of those resorts tie a 2013-2014 pass with tickets for the remainder of this season. Some also include free access to summertime activities.

Prices for season passes for skiers and snowboarders other than adults – seniors, children, military personnel – and partial-week tickets typically discount the cost even further.

Here’s a look at some of the deals:

Tamarack Resort. Next cutoff date is March 31 for existing adult pass holder at $279, new pass holder at $199. Prices jump to $319 for both after that. More information

Brundage Mountain. April 30 is cutoff for a $369 adult season pass for next year. A first-time pass holder gets the pass for $299 before that date. More information.

Lookout Pass. Until further notice, an adult season’s pass for 2013-2014 costs $199. The pass gets holder discounts at all Montana and Inland Northwest resorts, and most Idaho resorts. More information

Schweitzer Mountain Resort. With a cutoff on May 30, adults age 26 and over pay $629 for the 2013-2014 season pass. Young adults age 18-25 get a much deeper discount at $299. More information.

Silver Mountain. Adult skiers and riders who buy before April 30 get a $269 pass for next season. Ticket includes discounted lift passes at Mission Ridge Resort. More information.

Bogus Basin. Through March 31, adult season pass costs $259; until Sept. 30, the costs goes up to $299. Any new residents to the Treasure Valley as of March 31 also get the $259 price. More information.
