How would you like to get a free lift ticket every time you fill your vehicles gas tank?
Participating Michigan Shell stations are offering vouchers for each 10 gallon gas purchase, which allows you to get a second lift ticket for free with the purchase of a full-price adult lift ticket. Purchase gas and the Shell station attendant stamps a voucher and your gas receipt.
Take both to the lift ticket window at the ski area, and when you purchase an adult ticket you get a second one free. It’s that simple, and a pretty sweet deal.
The free lift ticket and purchased lift ticket must be used the same day, and both users need to present at the lift ticket window at the same time. The offer, which begins Jan. 4, is valid through the end of the season. Local restrictions apply. Check each resort for complete details.
The deal is good at 19 participating ski areas scattered throughout lower Michigan. Six are located in the UP, which are the closest ski areas for participating Wisconsin skiers. Ohio and Indiana skiers/riders should wait until you cross the state line to fill your tank heading north.
A sampling of the ski areas includes Swiss Valley, Timber Ridge, Cannonsburg and Apple Mountain in southern Michigan, and most of the large resorts in northern Michigan; Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, Crystal Mountain, Nubs Nob, Shanty Creek, and Treetops. In the UP there’s Norway Mountain, Marquette Mountain and Pine Mountain, among others. The complete list is available online by following the above link.
