For the full mountain resort experience, savor a jaunt through the woods on a traditional horse drawn sleigh ride, get your adrenaline rush on a zipline, or control your own speed on a mountain coaster.
The Bretton Woods Canopy Tour descends over 1,000 feet of elevation through a network of platforms. Cruise through the woods behind a team of Alaskan Husky sled dogs or a horse-drawn sleigh rides at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel. Back at the base lodge, the Slopeside Climbing Wall suits all abilities of climbers.
Cranmore’s Mountain Coaster consists of thousands of feet of twisting, turning fun down the mountain at rider-controlled speeds through banked turns. The Giant Swing allows up to four people to swing and arc higher and higher above the ground.
Gunstock’s ZipTour offers ten different zip-lines travelling over 1.5 miles on the longest zip line canopy tour in the continental United States. Guests control their own speed and can even stop to enjoy the spectacular views.

You don’t need to ski or snowboard to have fun in the mountains at Loon. Tubing offers all the thrills of sliding down a mountain, without any learning curve. To get started, head over to our tubing hill under the Little Sister chairlift, across from the Octagon Lodge.Tot tubing is also available for kids seven years of age and under.
On a Snowbike at Pats Peak riders can control turns, braking and stop while heading downhill on snow. The bikes have skis mounted to the base and the rider wears small skis on their boots as well.
Visit Town Square at Waterville Valley for a horse-drawn sleigh ride pulled by a pair of Belgian draft horses, traveling along the scenic village roads offering views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Travel by moonlight or headlight on a twilight dogsled excursion on Friday and Saturday nights
