Crystal Mountain Hosts Kids Free Weekend, Women’s Ski Clinic Early January
One of the Heartland’s most popular family ski resorts, Crystal Mountain, Mich. is hosting Kid’s Free Weekend, Jan. 10-12, and a Women’s Ski Clinic with highly touted instructor and former pro ski racer Lisa Densmore, Jan. 11-12.
Parent's magazine has called the resort one of the "Ten Best Winter Resorts for Families" in the nation, and Condé Nast Traveler says it’s one of the “50 Best Places to Ski & Stay in North America;” heady accolades.
Kid’s Free Weekend up to two kids, age 9-17, sleep and ski/ride free with each paid adult, children eight and under sleep and ski/ride free anytime. The package, from $298 per adult, includes two-nights lodging and open-to-close lift tickets from arrival through departure.
Women who are interested in learning more about skiing and improving their techniques should take advantage of the Women’s Ski Clinic led by Densmore. She’s considered one of the top instructors in her profession, and brings a lot of knowledge and passion to the sport.
The clinics, with instruction by Densmore and Crystal’s top female instructors, includes two days of lift tickets, Elan premium ski demos, boot fitting with professional boot fitter Jim Riley, on-hill video and indoor video analysis, panel discussions, two lunches, Saturday cocktail reception with Densmore, and resort discount coupons.
The cost is $369 per person for both Saturday and Sunday sessions. Crystal season pass holders are $279 per person. A Saturday session only is $229 per person, and $184 for season pass holders.
