Skiers and riders look to the fall Canadian ski shows this October and early November.

Oct. 17-20: New name: Toronto Snow Show and new location: International Centre, Hall 5, 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga, ON, Hours: Thurs., 3-10 p.m., Fri., Noon-10 p.m., Sat., 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Sun., 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission: Adults $17; Juniors (11-17) and Seniors (65 plus) $9; children (10 and under) free with an adult; Family Pass (2 adults + 2 children) $45; Show Package (admission to show and Into The Mind feature film). Features: Buy one, get one free lift ticket with admission; Pro-AM Rail Jam; Burton Riglet Park, a miniature terrain-based snowboard park that utilizes small terrain features; premiere of feature film Into The Mind, (advance film tickets $20, at door $25). Exhibitors will have the latest equipment, deals from resorts across North America.
Oct. 26-27: Ottawa Ski, Snowboard & Travel Show, Ernst & Young Centre (formerly CE Centre), Hall 4, 4899 Uplands Drive at Airport Parkway, Ottawa, ON. Hours: Sat., 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sun., 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free admission; $7 on site parking. Ski & snowboard related travel destinations, equipment, clothing, lifestyle information and related products and services, at-show-only special offers, plus ski/snowboard swap and sale.
Nov. 2-3: Calgary Snow & Skate Show, Calgary Equi-Plex, Spruce Meadows, 18011 Spruce Meadows Way SW, Calgary, AB. Hours: Sat., 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sun., 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission: Adults $8; kids 12 and under free when accompanied by paid adult. Save $2 when you pick up your admission pass at any Safeway. Features: Ski Swap with more than $1.5 million of new and used equipment and savings of up to 80 percent; mechanical snowboard; beer garden; 4,000-square-foot skate park; ski jam; free parking.
