Mountain Capital Partners, which has been on a buying spree in the last several years and created the season Power Pass, announced that Brian Head skiers and riders who purchase a Power Pass will have unlimited skiing and riding at the resort.
Power Pass is currently on sale for $799 for adults. With Brian Head now in the fold, the season pass gives access to Colorado's Purgatory and Ski Hesperus, New Mexico's Pajarito and Sipapu, Arizona Snowbowl, and northern Utah's Nordic Valley.
“Brian Head’s family-friendly vibe and proximity to southern Utah’s famous red cliffs and national parks greatly enhances our portfolio and supports our mission to make skiing and riding more accessible and affordable,” said Mountain Capital's managing partner James Coleman.
Like all multi-resort season passes these days, the Power Pass also has linked up with “partners,” permitting three days free skiing and riding at some 15 North American resorts, and at one resort each in Japan, Germany, Austria, and Spain.
Coleman and his partners won't have to spend as much at Brian Head for upfront upgrades as they have on other properties -- $45 million since 2014 – as Brian Head's previous ownership has put three high-speed chairs in since 2012, plus other improvements.
In the summer, Brian Head stays open with chairlift rides, lift-served mountain biking, hiking, and other activities.
