Boyne Mt. 'Bring A Friend' Lesson Promo Includes Free Ski Boots You Can Keep
It may be the best lesson program that I’ve seen come along in all my years of covering snowsports. Boyne Mountain has come up with a first class lesson--Introduce A Friend To Skiing promotion that includes a pair of boots, rentals for the rest of this season and a Frequent Skier Card.
The cost of the lesson program is $299 per person, which includes a weekend of instruction in a small class limited to no more than six adults, a brand new pair of custom fitted Head ski boots that you keep, lunch on Saturday, complimentary ski rental for the remainder of this season as well as a Boyne Frequent Skier Card, good through this season, and a 2 for1 Boyne Pass voucher for the 2015/16 season. That’s a lot, and you even get other free swag and discount certificates.
“It’s a phenomenal deal,” Boyne spokesperson Erin Eernst told SnoCountry.com. “The full value of this program is over $1,400, and each individual taking the lesson program is getting it for a fraction of the cost. But, the best part is that the skier introducing a friend to this lesson program is getting a ski friend for life, which is the purpose. With their own boots, we are confident that in the three lesson sessions over the weekend that they will become a confident skier. They will be able to ski all over the Mountain with you, a sport that you both can enjoy for life. It’s a great start.”
The weekend sessions, February 21-22, February 28—March 1, and March 7-8, includes lessons Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning. You will have the same instructor for each lesson so there is no loss of continuity. It is open to those aged 18 and up.
Class sizes are limited, so don’t delay signing up if interested. There will still be plenty of season left to get out and enjoy Boyne’s slopes after completing the lesson program. The last day I've skied at Boyne Mountain was April 27 for both of the last two seasons.
