Whistler Mountain will open Sat., Nov. 16, 13 days ahead of their scheduled opening.
The early opening is due to a combination of cold temperatures, snowmaking, and natural snowfall. Five lifts will be running and guests can upload from either the Whistler Village or Creekside Gondolas, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
“With all the excitement of opening day, we want to remind guests early season conditions will apply, especially off piste,” says Whistler’s Doug MacFarlane.
Runs set to open include Ego Bowl, Upper Whiskey Jack, Upper Franz, Papoose, Orange Peel and Pony Trail. Click here for the latest information on open trails and grooming.
Dining facilities, ski and snowboard rentals and Adult Max 4 ski and snowboard lessons will be available.
Blackcomb Mountain will open, as scheduled, Nov. 28.
