53rd Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo Returns Nov. 7-9

Albany Ski & Snowboard ExpoNew York and Vermont skiers looking to discover the latest in ski and board gear innovations, resort news, lift ticket deals and vacation planning will find all that and more at New York's largest and longest-running winter sports show, the 53rd annual Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo.

Advance discount tickets are available for $8 online. Tickets are $10 at the door and children 10 and under accompanied by an adult are free. Show hours are Friday, 4 - 9 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Online ticket purchasers will also receive a promo code for $2 off admission to Warren Miller’s newest release, No Turning Back, at the Palace Theatre Nov. 7 and 8.

The first 400 guests Friday, Nov. 7 will receive a buy-one, get-one free lift ticket voucher to one of six participating mountains in Vermont, including Bolton Valley, Bromley Mountain Resort, Magic Mountain, Mount Snow, Pico Mountain and Smugglers’ Notch.

The first 400 guests Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9 will receive an I SKI NY passport redeemable for a free lift ticket to one of nine participating mountains in New York, including Belleayre, Catamount, Gore, Greek Peak, Oak, Titus, West, Whiteface and Windham.

You must be one of the first 400 in box office line Friday, Saturday and Sunday to participate in the various lift ticket promotions.

The Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo will offer shoppers the opportunity to purchase the latest in winter fashion and enjoy deals on leading industry equipment. You also can revisit your favorite winter action sports films with screenings of seven classic Warren Miller movies located throughout the Expo. 

Fans are invited to participate in the Extreme Ski & Snowboard Video Contest. Post a video of your own skills on the slopes to the Albany Ski & Snowboard Expo Facebook page. The ten videos with the most likes will be featured at the Expo and the person who posts the top video will win a grand prize.
