SnoCountry delivers customized snow conditions reports and resort information for alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding to a vast array of media partners, including a national network of radio and television stations and websites. SnoCountry serves the leaders in media including The Weather Channel, USA Today, Associated Press, The New York Times, AccuWeather, RSN, Skiing Magazine and more.
The SnoCountry Data Center operates nearly 24/7 to verify and update changing snow conditions and to deliver the very best information to our media partners. SnoCountry reports on more ski resorts in North America than any other snow reporting services. Besides snow conditions and events, data services can provide Resort Information and Profiles, Daily Ski Cams, Ski Area Trail Maps, and Ski Area Logos.
SnoCountry can deliver data through:
XML: The most requested SnoCountry service allows the media partner to access the SnoCountry server and automatically “pull” the conditions multiples times throughout the day.
FTP: This service will “push” the delivery of conditions to the clients’ server through a secure connection.
C0-Brand: SnoCountry can build a series of pages that mimic (following the flow and feeling) your site exactly, including integration of logos and advertisements. The conditions are still hosted on SnoCountry servers, however they are displayed as part of your interactive page.
