Michigan Deal: Fill Your Tank, Get Free Lift Ticket

Perfect morning at Boyne Mt.

How would you like to get a free lift ticket to your favorite ski resort every time you fill your gas tank? Well, you can. Here's how:

Participating Shell stations in the Midwest are offering vouchers for each 10 gallon gas purchase, which allows you to get a second lift ticket for free with the purchase of a full-price adult lift ticket.

Shell Gas Logo

The Shell station attendant will stamp a voucher and your gas receipt when you purchase gas  Take both to the lift ticket window at the ski area, and when you purchase an adult ticket, you get a second one free. They must be used on the same day. The offer is good through April 19 or when ski areas close for the season. Local restrictions apply. Check each resort for complete details. Participating Shell stations in the Midwest are located in Michigan and Wisconsin.

The deal is good at 23 participating ski areas scattered throughout Michigan. Six are located in the UP, which are the closest ski areas for participating Wisconsin Shell stations. No Badger State ski areas are participating with the free ski program.

Grab a friend, fill your tank, and head to the ski area. It’s that simple, and a pretty sweet deal.

A sampling of participating areas in the Wolverine State includes some of the larger resorts.  In Lower Michigan there’s Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands, Caberfae Peaks, Crystal Mountain, Nubs Nob, Shanty Creek, The Homestead and Treetops Resort to name a few. Big Powderhorn, Blackjack, Marquette Mountain, Mont Ripley, and Pine Mountain are some of the participating UP resorts.  The complete list is available online along with information on the program.
