Mammoth, Snowbird, Whistler Join The Mountain Collective; Pre-Season Sale Now
Three more major destinations have joined The Mountain Collective for the 2013-14 season, bringing the total to seven. A limited number of Mountain Collective passes are on sale now for $349 (USD).
Mammoth Mountain, Calif.; Snowbird, Utah; and Whistler Blackcomb, BC have combined with original Collective members Alta, Utah; Aspen/Snowmass, Colo.; Jackson Hole, Wyo.; and Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, Calif.
“We successfully captured the imagination of mountain travel enthusiasts looking for variety, flexibility and affordable access to the best independent resorts in the world,” said Aspen’s Christian Knapp. “Adding these three world class mountains makes this the ultimate skier’s dream pass, and only improves the value skiers and riders will enjoy from The Mountain Collective.”
The pass includes two days of skiing and riding at each of six destinations (Alta/Snowbird is considered as one destination). A 50 percent discount is offered on all other days with no blackout dates. Passholders will receive exclusive offers during the season.
The collective benefit of the pass means access to 12 mountains with more than 30,000 acres of terrain and 186 lifts.
Passes are available online through an exclusive technology, distribution and partnership with Liftopia.
