US Forest Service & AMC Host “Kids Free Fishing Day” Saturday, June 1 at Wildcat Mountain
Pinkham Notch, NH – This year's "Kids Free Fishing Day" event scheduled for Saturday, June 1 will be a great way for children to learn about fish, their ecology, and skills associated with fishing. Representatives and volunteers from the U.S. Forest Service and Appalachian Mountain Club will provide experience and knowledge to help the beginning angler get started.

Wanderlust and Squaw Valley Join Forces on New Yoga Studio at Birthplace of Iconic Festival
Olympic Valley, CA – Squaw Valley and Wanderlust are proud to announce the planned opening of the resort’s new yoga studio, Wanderlust Yoga Squaw Valley. The new studio is an extension of the longstanding partnership between Wanderlust and Squaw Valley. Squaw was the original birthplace of the Wanderlust Festival, which has now expanded to seven locations around the world. The new studio, which will be the only full-time yoga studio in the valley, is slated to open on First Street in The Village at Squaw Valley in late June 2013.
2nd Annual Mountain Mucker Obstacle Race At Mount Sunapee Resort June 1, 2013
Newbury, NH – The 2nd Annual Mountain Mucker 5K Obstacle Race will be held at Mount Sunapee Resort on Saturday, June 1. Fourteen obstacles must be negotiated along a 5K course that winds up and down the slopes of Mount Sunapee. While individuals are welcome to enter, this is primarily a team event. It will take strength, stamina, balance, brainpower and teammates to get through the course. Eighty three teams are already signed up for the race. New this year will be additional loops with three more obstacles for those who think 5K isn’t enough. The 5K Mountain Mucker Obstacle Race is open to anyone age 12 and over. Ages 12-14 must be accompanied on the course by an adult.
