Skiers and snowboarders who come up from the Reno, Nev., area to hit the slopes around Lake Tahoe often get no farther than Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe – a venerable mountain that has been considered Reno’s “local mountain” for nearly 80 years.
One of the cool things about skiing and riding is that everybody hits the slopes in their own personal way. So the specialty clinics at Squaw Valley-Alpine Meadows target that individuality – and get everyone off on the right foot with a major bargain.
With a goal of “supporting local skiing and riding,” Londonderry, Vermont’s Magic Mountain is offering $15 lift tickets on every non-holiday and non-powder day “Throwback Thursday,” beginning Jan. 2, 2014.
