At Cannon’s Echo Lake Beach, enjoy the beauty of a 39-acre lake with an excellent view. The slopes of Cannon Mountain ski area drop right to the edge of the lake, and the view highlights where the Franconia Range and Kinsman Range meet, creating the notch. Canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats are available for rent. While in Franconia Notch, chase waterfalls around the Basin and Flume Gorge.
Right next to Waterville Valley's Town Square you'll find the mountain stream-fed Corcoran's Pond and a fleet of over 20 kayaks, pedal boats and canoes available for rent at the Town Square dock. While you're at Corcoran’s Pond, enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery, relax on the sandy beach, and swim in the 6 ½ acre pond.
Attitash offers a great place to cool down and have fun this summer with two waterslide attractions, the Aquaboggan and the Sidewinder tubing slide. Choose from three different Aquaboggan routes featuring hairpin turns, underground tunnels and plenty of splash down into the landing pools. Ride solo on a tube or on three-person rafts as you plunge down the rapids of the Sidewinder for some wet ‘n’ wild fun.
Rent a tube from the Bretton Woods Adventure Center for a float at the foot of the Presidential mountains on the beautiful Ammonoosuc River. A short hike from the Omni Mount Washington Hotel takes you to the Upper and Lower Falls on the Ammonoosuc, and great spot to dip your toes in.
