Deer Valley Resort’s Own Synchronized Ski Team To Perform February 20 and 21, 2012
DEER VALLEY RESORT, PARK CITY, UT – The Deer Valley Resort Synchronized Ski Team is comprised of 16 ski instructors skiing together in two groups of eight. Skiing in unison, the instructors will perform a variety of complex routines with intense energy and precision.
The first group of eight is demonstrating a series of short and long turns while alternating between two and three parallel lines.
The second group of eight is skiing a series of short turns interspersed with cross over maneuvers where the skiers are changing sides with less than three feet of space between descending skiers.
The resort's renowned Ski School will demonstrate their synchronized skiing maneuvers on February 20 and 21 on Wide West ski run. The performances will start at 4:15 p.m.
This event will take place on Wide West ski run, located behind the Snow Park Lodge. Spectators can view the performance free at the base of Wide West.
